Tumbling Waters Retreat Wedding Wollongong – Sarah and Jarad

With the rainiest month of the year coming up (February), I thought it was a good time to show you Sarah – The happiest bride alive!! – and her VERY rainy wedding day.

It was in November so a slight anomaly, and we had 10 whole minutes without rain.  So to all you brides and grooms out there worrying about the rain, ‘be like Sarah’ and just have an awesome time!

Sarah and Jarad met when they were 18 however they didn’t really ‘see’ each other as a possible partner until Australia day 4 years ago.  Jarad was bragging about his amazing home brew, so Sarah saw that as an excellent ‘pick up line’ and suggested she come and try some. Well, she never did get to try that allusive beer, but she did get her man!

Jarad isn’t much on hiking, but Sarah loves it, so he decided to propose to her on the Wadi Wadi hiking track that ends at Tumbling Waters Retreat, which made the Reception venue an easy choice!

We love Sarah’s flowers, supplied by Hayley @ Indianna Blooms, the fabulous cake by Harmony @ Sugar Butter Eggs, and of course the 2015 Show Band of the year, The Salsa Kingz 🙂

Sylvan Glen Wedding Southern Highlands – Tina & Nathaniel

Tina & Nathaniel got married at the gorgeous Sylvan Glenn in the Bundanoon/Penrose area of the Southern Highlands, NSW.  As the day progressed it became obvious they had picked one of the wettest days of the year! Luckily they picked the best venue in Sylvan Glen, with many different options for photography. The rain calmed enough for us to use the beautiful overlapping trees and roadway for some of the location images.

Tina, sorry about your shoes 🙂  Enjoy, Zea.

Sebel Harbourside Kiama Wedding Photographer – Emma & Dylan

With a wedding at the Sebel in Kiama on a rainy day in March, Emma and Dylan braved the elements, and loaded with umbrellas and the best bridal party we had a ball!  The Sebel Harbourside at Kiama were so helpful in arranging a lovely room for the ceremony, and the rain didn’t stop us getting great photos 🙂

Lagoon Restaurant Wollongong – Wedding Photography – Marilyn & Ryan

When Marilyn first saw Ryan he was dressed as a pirate, which apparently worked very well for both of them!  Although the rain threatened, it stayed away for just long enough and produced great clouds for us to photograph.  Charlotte and I had an amazing day – thanks Marilyn and Ryan!  Zea x
